With early bookings, hotels and resorts are fully booked.
Da Nang tourism has officially entered its peak summer season of 2026 with a series of attractive festival activities. In particular, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2026 (DIFF 2026), taking place tomorrow evening (May 30th), will create a strong attraction for tourists visiting Da Nang City.

Observations at hotels and resorts in Da Nang City show that occupancy rates are above 90%, with many establishments reaching 100% this weekend.
Speaking with a reporter from the Industry and Trade Newspaper, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung, Director of Fivitel Da Nang, said that during the peak summer tourist season, especially during the DIFF (Da Nang International Fireworks Festival), Fivitel Da Nang recorded a significant increase in the number of guests, particularly on the two peak weekend days. “ Currently, the occupancy rate on Saturday and Sunday, May 30th and 31st, has reached 100%. The occupancy rate on weekends in June and July is currently over 90%,” Ms. Dung informed.
According to Ms. Thai Thi Thu Thuy, Director of Sales and Marketing at Courtyard by Marriott Danang Han River Hotel, the hotel is located on the banks of the Han River and very close to the DIFF performance stage, so the demand from guests on the competition nights is very high. Currently, the hotel is almost fully booked for the opening night on June 30th, and the remaining nights of the festival are also over 70% occupied.
“ Based on current booking data, we predict that the nights of this year’s Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) will continue to achieve very high occupancy rates, possibly even being completely full, similar to previous years,” shared Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa, Commercial Director of Hilton Da Nang Hotel.

At hotels along the Han River and the central coastal area of Da Nang City, the occupancy rate for weekends in June and July 2026 reached 85-95%.
According to representatives from Furama Resort Da Nang, occupancy rates during the opening of DIFF 2026 and the peak summer season are expected to be favorable, at around 85-95%. Domestic guest numbers at Furama are projected to increase by nearly 20% compared to 2025, thanks to the appeal of DIFF 2026, the Da Nang Asian Film Festival - DANAFF 3, and other cultural and tourism events taking place in June and July.
Notably, representatives from many hotels said that this year, domestic tourists tend to book earlier and stay longer during the summer. “ Furama’s customer structure continues to show a positive balance between domestic and international guests. International guests are clearly returning, while domestic guests, especially families, leisure travelers, and those combining leisure with event attendance, tend to book earlier and stay longer during the summer, ” said Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh, General Director of Furama Resort Da Nang and Chairman of the Da Nang Hotel Association.
“ During this period, the number of bookings increased rapidly from very early on, with confirmations made in early May. The majority of these bookings were from families, groups, and tourists coming to experience the beach tourism atmosphere in Da Nang,” said a representative of Fivitel Da Nang.

Diverse services enhance the visitor experience.
According to Nguyen Duc Quynh, Chairman of the Da Nang Hotel Association, during the opening of DIFF 2026 and the following fireworks nights, occupancy rates at accommodation establishments in Da Nang's coastal area recorded very positive results, fluctuating around 85-95%, with many hotels achieving over 90% occupancy. In June alone, bookings increased by more than 10% compared to 2025, reflecting the strong appeal of DIFF and the summer tourist season.
Besides accommodation services, hotels and resorts in Da Nang are focusing on improving service quality, applying technology, AI, and innovation to optimize the visitor experience. Many establishments are implementing vacation packages that combine culinary experiences, spa treatments, beach activities, programs for families and children, as well as local cultural experiences to extend the length of stay and increase guest spending.
Furama Resort Da Nang will continue to enhance its culinary and resort experiences, including upgrading its seafood and steak buffet, and introducing the "Com Mam Dong" (rice served on a tray) concept to promote Central Vietnamese cuisine to guests. In addition, the resort will offer yoga and self-rescue swimming activities for children, a beach festival program, and many other experiences for families.
At Fivitel Da Nang Hotel, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung stated that during the holiday period, the hotel will organize a Live Music & Coffee program every Saturday evening on the 25th floor rooftop, offering panoramic city views and a view of the fireworks display.
Similarly, taking advantage of its prime location right on the Han River and near the fireworks display area, Hilton Da Nang has prepared unique service packages with direct views of the fireworks, such as: Dinner in the restaurant space or private space in the luxury rooms.

DIFF 2026 and the series of summer festivals are expected to generate strong growth in accommodation service revenue in Da Nang City.
Tourism accommodation establishments also place their trust in DIFF 2026 and the series of summer festivals to create positive revenue growth for Da Nang's accommodation services. “ Booking rates on interspersed dates are trending slower compared to the same period last year. However, we remain optimistic that the fireworks nights will act as a 'locomotive' driving demand, ensuring high occupancy rates and creating momentum for growth in the entire market during this peak season,” said the Commercial Director of Hilton Da Nang, anticipating a vibrant business season with favorable guest numbers and occupancy rates.
“ We expect DIFF 2026 and the series of summer festivals to continue to be important highlights, contributing to increasing the number of visitors to Da Nang City, especially international tourists,” shared Nguyen Duc Quynh, Chairman of the Da Nang Hotel Association.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh, Chairman of the Da Nang Hotel Association: Currently, the number of international tourists visiting Da Nang is increasing by more than 12% compared to 2025, accounting for approximately 53% of the total number of tourists to the city. This is a very positive sign for the city's hotel industry to continue its strong recovery, enhance its competitiveness, and affirm Da Nang's position as a leading festival and resort destination in the region.
