Many businesses and production facilities are experiencing shortages, having to increase production day and night to meet consumer demand and the need for Tet gifts.

The Cam Hang coconut jam production facility in Cau Ke commune enters its peak season from the 15th day of the 11th lunar month. Production capacity increases by approximately 50% compared to normal days to meet Tet holiday delivery deadlines.

The practice of establishing supply chains not only helps businesses stabilize their input supply but also creates sustainable output. In just the past month, the company has sold over 10 tons of products, an increase of approximately 50% compared to a normal month. Fifteen regular employees and five seasonal workers have had to work overtime from early morning until late at night to meet delivery deadlines.

Products such as coconut candy, dried coconut, and freeze-dried products are selling well at specialty stores, supermarkets, and airports. Besides the domestic market, these products are gradually reaching markets such as the US, Singapore, and Australia. Increased production during the year-end period not only meets market demand but also contributes to raising the income of local workers.

The entire province of Vinh Long currently has 1,361 hectares of waxy coconut plantations, producing over 3.2 million coconuts annually.
