On the afternoon of June 24, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the results of supervising the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Discussing in the hall, delegate Nguyen Anh Tri said "there is something very strange in our country, the exams at the lower levels are very difficult, the exams at the higher levels are easier". Specifically, especially the final exam at the end of secondary school is very difficult, in some places the ratio is 1:18. Meanwhile, the entrance exam to study for a master's degree, especially a doctorate, a research student... is not too difficult, even very easy.
"It is necessary to reorganize the exam issue in the following direction: primary school is just a test, so that children know what studying is like; then secondary school is more difficult; high school has exams but they are to select weak students, to tutor them. Then high school graduation exams are of normal difficulty, while university entrance exams should be made more difficult," delegate Nguyen Anh Tri suggested.
Next, delegate Nguyen Anh Tri shared some opinions of voters related to the lack of schools and classes for high school students at all levels and hoped that with the resolution on universaleducation just passed by the National Assembly, this issue will be resolved.
In addition, delegate Nguyen Anh Tri also proposed to strictly implement the resolution to completely ban electronic cigarettes. "Recently, I joined the monitoring delegations and learned that the situation of trading and using, especially selling to students at school gates, electronic cigarette smoking devices including electronic cigarettes, drug mixing substances, etc., heated tobacco is very common and has not been resolved, so I hope this will soon be included in the organization for implementation," delegate Nguyen Anh Tri said.

Urgently issue a list of specific occupations exempted from tuition fees
Delegate Nguyen Anh Tri mentioned the implementation of tuition exemption for students studying specialized professional fields. "This issue has been stipulated in the Law on Vocational Education since 2014, meaning it has been 11 years, but it has not been implemented yet because of the lack of a list of specialized professional fields," said delegate Nguyen Anh Tri.
From there, delegate Nguyen Anh Tri said that he agreed with the recommendation in the Report of the National Assembly Standing Committee, which is to recommend that the Government direct the Ministry of Education and Training to urgently develop and submit for promulgation a list of specialized professions to soon put this preferential policy into practice.
Delegate Nguyen Anh Tri said that in the new development stage of the country, there are many occupations that need to be added to this list. These are unattractive fields, very selective of students to study and later it will be very difficult to find people to work.
"In our medical field, there are some specialties that require a lot of effort to get a few students to study, as a commitment that needs to be prioritized," Mr. Nguyen Anh Tri cited.
