Foreign Trade University project over 1,100 billion VND
On the same day, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province also worked with the Foreign Trade University on the project to build a new campus in Tu Son city, with a planned area of 33.66 hectares. Phase 1 of the project has a budget of about 1,150 billion VND, expected to start construction in early 2027.
Foreign Trade University currently has facilities and campuses at 3 campuses (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Quang Ninh) but they are still limited. It is expected that in the next 10 years, the scale of the entire university will continue to increase. Therefore, expanding the training facilities in Bac Ninh is appropriate and necessary.
Associate Professor Dr. Bui Anh Tuan - President of Foreign Trade University - proposed that Bac Ninh province support the cost of compensation, site clearance, resettlement and investment in technical infrastructure for the project. This is a necessary development step in the context that the entire scale of the university will continue to expand in the next 10 years.
