Admission requirements of Can Tho University

The floor score is determined on a 30-point scale for each admission code. Admission combinations have the same floor score and do not distinguish the order of wishes. This score applies to all methods: considering the 2025 high school graduation exam scores, considering the transcripts and considering the V-SAT scores (converted to the equivalent of the high school graduation exam scores).

For majors that require admission based on high school graduation exam scores:

Candidates must have a total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination (plus priority points) from the floor score or higher, with no subject below 1.0 point.

Preschool Education: Candidates need to have a score of 5.0 in the Preschool Aptitude subject; at the same time, the total score of 2 high school exam subjects + (priority score) × 2/3 (rounded to 2 digits) is from 12.67 or higher.

Physical Education: Sports Aptitude subject from 5.0 points or higher; total of 2 high school exam subjects + (priority points) × 2/3 is from 12.0 or higher.

For majors that consider transcripts or V-SAT scores (except teacher training majors):

The converted score of each subject in the group is equivalent to the 2025 high school graduation exam score.

Candidates must achieve a total score from the floor score or higher (plus priority points), with no subject below 1.0 point.

For teacher training programs, consider transcripts or V-SAT scores:

Physical Education: Grade 12 academic performance is good or above. If the academic performance is average, the candidate must have a sports aptitude score of 9.0 or be a level 1 athlete, a champion, or have won a national/international medal.

Other teaching majors: Grade 12 academic achievement requirement is excellent or higher.
