Hanoi National University finalizes plan to convert admission scores in 2025

This year, Hanoi National University will enroll more than 21,100 students into 12 member schools. Admission methods include: direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and VNU; based on high school graduation exam results and HSA assessment scores.

Hanoi National University guides its member schools that when using multiple methods at the same time, schools will convert the floor score and the equivalent standard score, according to the Ministry's instructions.

As for the assessment test scores organized by Hanoi National University, the admission score will be converted to the equivalent of the graduation exam score, based on 2024 data for candidates' reference.

For example, a candidate who scores 129/150 HSA points is equivalent to 29.27/30 points in the graduation exam for block A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), 28.97 points in block B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology). A candidate who scores 75 HSA points is equivalent to 22.68 points in the A00 combination.
