Congress of Dong Nai Province Photographic Artists Association for the term 2024

(NADS) - On the morning of November 5, at the Dong Nai Province Literature and Arts Association, the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists of Dong Nai Province successfully held the Association Congress for the 2024 - 2029 term.

Attending the event were Artist Nguyen Van Thuong - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in charge of the Southeast region; Writer Hoang Ngoc Diep - Permanent Vice President of the Dong Nai Province Association of Literature and Arts, Mr. Pham Van Hoang - Head of the Propaganda Department of Long Khanh City Party Committee and nearly 20 members of the Dong Nai Province Association of Vietnamese Photographic Artists.

Representative of the Executive Committee reported on the summary of the activities of the Association for the 2019-2024 term.

At the Congress, the Executive Committee summarized the activities of the 2019-2024 term and the directions and tasks for the 2024-2029 term of the Association; Review report of the Executive Committee of the Association; Discussed and contributed opinions to the documents of the Association's Congress and the documents of the 10th term Congress (2025-2030); Elected the new Executive Committee of the Association consisting of 3 members, in which NSNA Pham Quoc Hung was elected as the Chairman of the Association, NSNA Nguyen Thanh An and NSNA Le Huu Thiet were elected as Vice Chairman of the Association; Elected 10 delegates to attend the National Congress of Delegates for the 10th term (2025-2030) and passed the Resolution of the Congress.

According to the Summary Report of the Executive Committee of the Dong Nai Province Association of Vietnamese Artists, in the past term, the Association admitted 04 new members. Possessing a relatively abundant human and intellectual resource with a total of 22 members, the Dong Nai Province Association of Vietnamese Artists always seeks, discovers and invests in, and nurtures the team of artists in the province, quickly building a plan to train, develop and improve the creative level of members. With the number of large and small international, national and regional awards that the authors have achieved, the Photography Department has contributed to affirming the extremely important position of Dong Nai Literature and Arts in the development of literature and arts in the whole country.

In the 2019-2024 term, the Dong Nai Provincial Photographic Artists Association in collaboration with the Dong Nai Literature and Arts Association built a scientific and effective program of activities with many methods such as organizing training courses, seminars to contribute comments on works at clubs, creative camps, and contests that were expanded in time and theme, encouraging more elaborate investment in both form of expression and artistic quality, creating conditions for members of the province to accompany the country, creating many works with positive content, both topical and ensuring artistic value, truly and clearly reflecting the beauty of the country, people of Dong Nai in particular and the Eastern region in general on the path of development, integrating into the cultural - social - economic flow of the whole country.

Representatives of the Vietnam Association of Fine Arts and Dong Nai Literature and Arts Association presented flowers to congratulate the new Executive Committee.

In addition, the Dong Nai Provincial Association of Photographers also closely coordinated with the Dong Nai Association of Literature and Arts to successfully organize the 30th Southeast Regional Art Photography Festival in 2023 with an enthusiastic welcome spirit and the careful preparation and readiness of the province, opening up opportunities for photographers in the region to exchange and share creative and academic experiences. The photography movement is integrated into local activities, linking and exchanging clubs inside and outside the province in a scientific and effective manner such as organizing for members to participate in composing at Cat Tien National Forest, coordinating with the Vietnam Association of Photographers to organize a Creative Camp for Southern Branches in Long Khanh City, etc.

During the 6th term (2024-2029), the Dong Nai Provincial Association of Photographers will continue to coordinate with the Dong Nai Provincial Association of Literature and Arts to organize creative camps and joint exhibitions of the Association and author groups, building the Dong Nai Provincial Association of Photographers to be united, helping and supporting each other in the process of activities and participating in creation, developing the photography movement with the criteria: Photography to the community is always spread widely, especially in striving to organize and form more Photography Clubs.
