The political report presented at the Congress affirmed that during the past term, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Military Party Committee focused on leading and directing the successful completion of the set goals, targets and tasks.
Notably, the resolutions and directives of superiors have been thoroughly implemented, proactively advising local Party committees and authorities to lead, direct and effectively organize the implementation of local defense and military tasks, contributing to building a strong all-people national defense (QPTD) and an increasingly solid defense zone; the overall quality and combat strength of the provincial armed forces have been improved, meeting the requirements of new tasks.

The quality of training, formal construction, and discipline training has changed a lot; the work of ensuring logistics, techniques, and finance has achieved good results; building a strong Party in terms of politics, ideology, organization, ethics, and cadres has always been of interest and has had many innovations.
The provincial armed forces have also actively helped people overcome the consequences of storms, floods, forest fires, build new rural areas, prevent the Covid-19 epidemic, effectively fight against hostile forces and all kinds of crimes, truly being a reliable support for local Party committees, authorities and people, contributing to maintaining political stability, social order and safety, promoting the province's socio-economic development.

Emphasizing that Quang Tri is a locality with a particularly important strategic position for the Military Region and the whole country, Major General Le Hong Nhan suggested that in the coming time, the Provincial Military Party Committee should focus on innovating, improving the quality and effectiveness of advising local Party committees and authorities on policies and solutions with long-term thinking and vision, creating new breakthroughs in implementing military and defense tasks right from the first year of the term, especially advising on supplementing and adjusting military strategy planning in conjunction with the development of a master plan for local socio-economic development.
Proactively grasp the situation in the area, especially in key areas, borders, and islands, promptly advise on effective handling of situations, avoid being passive or surprised; direct the improvement of the overall quality and combat readiness of the provincial armed forces.
Lead and direct the arrangement and operation of local military organizations, especially taking synchronous measures to build, consolidate and operate the activities of regional defense commands and border guard commands to ensure synchronization and connectivity between levels; take care of building a clean, strong and exemplary provincial Military Party Committee.

The Congress approved the Decision of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee on appointing the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Accordingly, the Provincial Military Party Committee consists of 21 members; the Standing Committee consists of 7 members. Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee, term 2025-2030; Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command, Colonel Le Hong Viet was appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee, term 2025-2030.
