The Congress of the Red Cross Association of communes and wards for the 2026-2031 term is expected to be held from January to April 2026.

(GLO)- On the afternoon of September 24, the Gia Lai Provincial Red Cross (RC) organized a live and online conference to 135 television stations across the province to deploy a number of key tasks in the coming time.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and agreeing on the plan to organize the 1st Congress of the Red Cross Association of communes and wards, term 2026-2031 from January to April 2026.

Along with that, organize emulation activities to welcome the 12th Provincial and National Red Cross Congress and celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Red Cross Society (November 23, 1946 - November 23, 2026); implement the movement "Humanitarian Tet" Spring Binh Ngo 2026 and "Humanitarian Month" 2026.

At the same time, it is necessary to unify the implementation of regular relief work and humanitarian assistance through the association's campaigns and emulation movements; propaganda work, health care for people, humanitarian medical examination and treatment; voluntary blood donation work; youth work, humanitarian charity in schools (school year 2025-2026) and a number of other important contents.
