
Attending the ceremony were comrades: Dang Anh Tuan, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Dinh Van An, Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Ly Thuong Kiet ward; representatives of leaders from provincial departments, agencies, and organizations, and some localities.


Representing the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha were: Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu, Standing Member of the Council of Elders, Standing Vice President of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Abbot of Tam Chuc Pagoda; Venerable Thich Quang Ha, Vice President of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Board; Venerable Thich Minh Quang, Secretary of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Standing Deputy Head of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Board; along with other venerable monks and nuns from the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Board and a large number of Buddhist followers.

At the ceremony, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers reviewed the history of the Buddha's birth and listened to the Buddha's Birthday message from the Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Association. The message emphasized that the Buddha's Birthday celebration is not only an occasion to commemorate the birth of Shakyamuni Buddha, but also an opportunity for each Buddhist to reflect on and gain a deeper understanding of the lessons from the life and teachings of the Buddha.
In a world of significant change, the message affirms that the Buddha's teachings on compassion and wisdom are not only solutions for building peace and unity, but also a source of positive life and a foundation for sustainable development. For Vietnam, 2026 marks a new phase of development after the reorganization of administrative units and the streamlining of the organizational structure. The message expresses confidence that when all decisions are based on the people and serve their benefit, there will be harmony, consensus, and unity, leading to certain positive achievements.
On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (1981-2026), in preparation for the Buddhist Congress at all levels for the 2026-2031 term and looking forward to the 10th National Buddhist Congress, the Supreme Patriarch wishes that all venerable monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers continue to dedicate themselves to service in a spirit of mindfulness and peace, contributing to the solemnity of the Sangha and promoting the fine traditions of Vietnamese Buddhism.

Following this, delegates, venerable monks and nuns, and a large number of Buddhists respectfully performed the incense offering ceremony and chanted scriptures to celebrate the Buddha's birthday; they also participated in the ritual of bathing the Buddha statue. In the solemn atmosphere of the Grand Ceremony, delegates and Buddhists prayed for national peace and prosperity, for the country's development, for favorable weather, and for the people to be well-fed and happy.

On this occasion, the Management Board of Tam Chuc Pagoda presented 20 gifts to underprivileged students participating in the "Summer Experience" program at the pagoda who have strived to excel in their studies.
The Buddha's Birthday celebration in the year 2570 of the Buddhist calendar at Tam Chuc Pagoda took place in a solemn and respectful atmosphere, contributing to the spread of the beautiful values of Buddhism regarding compassion, wisdom, and a benevolent spirit. This was also an opportunity for monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers to uphold the tradition of protecting the nation and ensuring the well-being of the people, accompanying the nation, contributing to building national unity, and working together for the development of the homeland.
