Speaking at the reception, Chairman of the Vietnam - China Friendship Association Nguyen Hoang Anh warmly congratulated the great achievements that the Party, State and people of China have achieved in 75 years of building and developing the country, from "standing up", to "getting rich", and then "getting strong".
Especially in the more than 10 years of the “new era” since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (2012), under the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, China has successfully completed the “first centenary” goal, bringing China from “advancing with the times” to confidently and steadily “leading the times” with other countries; we believe that China will continue to steadily advance on the path to realizing the “second centenary” goal, building China into a modern, prosperous, democratic, civilized, harmonious and beautiful socialist country.
Comrade Nguyen Hoang Anh expressed that in recent years, under the attention, direction and strategic orientation of the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries, the bilateral relationship between Vietnam and China has been continuously promoted and deepened, especially after the historic mutual visits of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong in October 2022, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping in December 2023 and most recently, General Secretary and President To Lam in August 2024, the Vietnam - China relationship has been continuously promoted and deepened. In the coming time, the Party, State and people of Vietnam are willing to work with the Party, State and people of China to further strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, promote the building of a Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future with strategic significance according to the common perception and orientation of "6 more", contributing to bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries as well as maintaining peace , stability and development in the region and the world. We believe that Ambassador Ha Vi will play an important role as a bridge during his term in Vietnam, making practical contributions to promoting the cause of friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties and two countries.
Speaking at the reception, Chinese Ambassador He Wei reviewed the great achievements that the Party, State and people of China have made over the past 75 years; emphasizing that under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China with General Secretary andPresident Xi Jinping as the core leader, China has successfully completed the first 100-year goal, comprehensively built a moderately prosperous society, and opened a new journey of building Chinese-style modernization; recently successfully held the 3rd Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party, passed the "Decision on Continuing to Comprehensively Deepen Reform and Promote Chinese-style Modernization", identifying more than 300 reform measures covering all fields.
Ambassador Ha Vi emphasized that China and Vietnam are friendly neighbors, mountains connected to mountains, rivers connected to rivers; China always considers relations with Vietnam a priority direction in its neighborly diplomacy, this is China's strategic choice based on the long-term development of relations between the two Parties and two countries; expressed willingness to work with the Vietnamese side to thoroughly implement the high-level common perception, persistently follow the strategic direction of the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries on further strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, promoting the building of the Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future of strategic significance. Ambassador Ha Vi affirmed that during his term of office, he will strive to promote the role of connecting, coordinating, promoting ministries, branches and localities on the Chinese side to closely coordinate with the Vietnamese side, continuing to promote the fields of cooperation between the two sides to develop more and more deeply./.
