Speaking at the meeting on April 28, Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi said: "This is the first time Vietnam has sent forces to participate in the military parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War (May 9, 1945 - May 9, 2025)."
The Ambassador emphasized that this event is extremely meaningful for Vietnam-Russia relations in general and for the Vietnam People's Army in particular, and is a symbol of the traditional friendship between Vietnam and the former Soviet Union and the Russian Federation today.
"That friendly relationship continues to be inherited and nurtured through many generations, contributing to maintaining peace and stability in the region and the world ," Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi affirmed.

According to the Ambassador, the officers and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation as well as the large number of Vietnamese expatriates in Moscow have been very interested in and regularly following all activities of the Vietnam People's Army delegation since the delegation landed at the airport in Moscow.
Expressing his emotion and pride when witnessing the Vietnamese soldiers full of spirit, determination, and enthusiasm in training, Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi encouraged and inquired about the health of each officer and soldier of the Vietnam People's Army, expressing his wish that the officers and soldiers of the entire group would overcome all difficulties, successfully complete the tasks assigned by the Party, State and army, bringing honor and pride to the country and the army.
