18 hectares of durian of households cooperating with Po Ko Farm in Dak To commune have been granted a growing area code and are being harvested for export to the Chinese market. People apply VietGAP standards, strictly control the care and harvesting process to meet strict requirements on quality, appearance and food safety. The application of science and technology also helps to improve productivity and uniform quality, making this model a typical example of green agriculture and clean agricultural products.
The whole commune currently has 4 large fields and 2 areas with codes for domestic consumption, with nearly 17 hectares of pink bananas and 26 hectares of durian. The local government aims to expand the area of industrial crops, increase productivity and encourage the development of high-tech, organic and ecological agriculture, creating conditions for joint ventures and partnerships to consume products.
Maintaining and promoting growing area codes not only optimizes the value chain but also contributes to affirming the brand and reputation of Dak To agricultural products, creating a foundation for sustainable agricultural development.
