Ensuring the smooth flow of policy credit funds.

After a month of operating the two-tiered local government system, the Hiep Duc and Duy Xuyen branches of the Social Policy Bank have continuously strived to deliver policy credit funds to the right beneficiaries, contributing to ensuring social security.

Fast and convenient disbursement of funds.

In recent days, many people in Viet An commune have been present at the transaction point as usual to complete loan procedures with the Hiep Duc branch of the Social Policy Bank to invest in production and business... Ms. To Thi Yen from Nhi Phu village, Viet An commune, was very happy when the Hiep Duc branch of the Social Policy Bank approved a loan of 100 million VND from the job creation support fund to expand her raw material forest planting model.

“When I heard about the merger of communes and the implementation of a two-tiered local government model, I was worried about when the funds would be disbursed and whether the loan procedures would change. But thanks to the dedicated guidance of the bank staff in quickly completing the procedures, my family has more motivation to develop our forestry economy ,” Ms. Yen shared.

Not only Ms. Yen, but many other households in Viet An, Hiep Duc, and Phuoc Tra communes also have the opportunity to borrow policy-based credit. Mr. Ngo Quang Do, Deputy Director of the Hiep Duc branch of the Social Policy Bank, said that currently, the total outstanding debt of 19 policy-based credit programs in the three communes mentioned above has reached nearly 410 billion VND (an increase of 16.9 billion VND compared to the beginning of 2025) with a total of 5,519 customers still having outstanding debt.

Bringing capital to the people.

Recognizing that preferential policy credit is a "lever" to support poor households and other policy beneficiaries in investing in production and business development, the Duy Xuyen branch of the Social Policy Bank closely follows the directives and guidelines from higher authorities, quickly delivering policy capital to the intended beneficiaries.

Mr. Nguyen Ba Tung, Director of the Duy Xuyen branch of the Social Policy Bank, said that the unit has made efforts to ensure uninterrupted delivery of preferential loans to the people. Accordingly, the unit quickly stabilized its organization, arranged its personnel rationally, and ensured continuous operation to best serve the people.

In addition, the Duy Xuyen branch of the Social Policy Bank organized the signing of joint documents with the Women's Union, the Farmers' Association, the Veterans' Association, and the Youth Union in the four newly established communes of Thu Bon, Duy Xuyen, Nam Phuoc, and Duy Nghia regarding the entrustment of lending to poor households and social policy beneficiaries. Simultaneously, they coordinated with the police force and local authorities to ensure the necessary facilities, security, and safety for the implementation of the transaction sessions.

According to Mr. Tung, by July 2025, the total outstanding debt of credit programs in the four communes of Thu Bon, Duy Xuyen, Nam Phuoc, and Duy Nghia will reach VND 498.7 billion, an increase of 4.66% compared to the same period in 2024. "In general, policy credit programs in the four aforementioned localities have been and are changing the lives of poor households and other policy beneficiaries, becoming a support system to help borrowers develop production, improve income, and enhance their quality of life," Mr. Tung observed.
