Ensuring medical services for the 2025 High School Graduation Exam

(DN)- According to the Department of Health, in order to ensure the health safety of candidates and staff on duty during the 2025 High School Graduation Exam (taking place on June 26 and 27), the entire health sector from the province to the grassroots level has been mobilized and organized to implement synchronous solutions. Thereby, proactively preventing and being ready to respond to any arising situations.

Specifically, before, during and after the exam, the health sector will step up measures to prevent summer diseases, carry out environmental sanitation, and check food safety at food service establishments, school canteens, and eateries around the exam area. Establish mobile teams to prevent and control epidemics, be ready to respond to emerging situations, and coordinate propaganda on health care and prevention of heatstroke and heat shock for candidates.

The Department of Health directs all medical examination and treatment facilities in the province to organize 24/24 hours on duty during the exam period; prepare adequate medicines, equipment, and emergency vehicles to quickly handle cases of illness, accidents, and poisoning. Provincial medical examination and treatment facilities arrange mobile emergency teams ready to support lower levels when necessary. Each medical unit prepares 5-10 spare hospital beds to ensure timely reception of emergency cases during the exam period.

In addition, medical facilities are also required to promptly issue certificates of illness and injury to ensure the rights of candidates according to exam regulations.

Medical centers coordinate with district and city health departments to inspect and monitor food safety at restaurants, eateries, food service locations in the area and at exam sites. In particular, localities develop plans to be ready to respond to unusual situations and assign focal officers to be on duty 24/7 to connect information with local exam councils.

Any developments related to epidemics, food poisoning or injuries must be promptly reported to the Department of Health for appropriate and prompt handling.
