The University of Foreign Languages ​​(Vietnam National University, Hanoi) is one of the top-ranked foreign language training universities in the country. In 2023, using the high school graduation exam scores as the admission criterion, the Chinese Language major at the university had a cutoff score of 35.55 points, with admission based on four subject combinations: D01; D04; D78; and D90.

In addition, the school also recruits students through four other methods, including: direct admission, admission based on the aptitude test scores of Hanoi National University, admission based on international certificates, and admission based on high school graduation exam scores combined with international certificates.

The expected tuition fee for the Chinese Language major is 35 million VND per academic year, and this fee remains unchanged from year to year.

Hanoi University is one of the universities with the highest entrance exam scores for the Chinese Language major nationwide. In 2023, the university's Chinese Language major admitted 300 students through four methods: direct and priority admission, combined admission according to Hanoi University's regulations, and admission based on high school graduation exam scores.

Based on the high school graduation exam scores, the admission cutoff score for the regular Chinese Language program is 35.75 points (D01; D04) and for the high-quality program is 34.82 points (D01; D04).

For the 2023-2024 academic year, the school's tuition fee for specialized subjects is 1,060,000 VND/credit and for general subjects is 650,000 VND/credit.

University of Foreign Languages ​​( Hue University)

The University of Foreign Languages ​​(Hue University) offers a Chinese Language program with three main specializations: Chinese for interpreting, Chinese for translation, and Chinese for business.

In 2023, this major considered applications based on four subject combinations: D01, D04, D15, and D45, with a minimum admission score of 23 points.

The tuition fee for the Chinese Language major is expected to be around 14.1 million VND per year, with an increase of no more than 20% compared to the previous year.

The University of Foreign Languages ​​(Da Nang University) recruits students for the Chinese Language major through 5 methods: direct admission, admission based on high school graduation exam scores, admission based on academic transcripts, admission based on the university's admission method, and admission based on the National University of Ho Chi Minh City's aptitude test scores.

This year, using the high school graduation exam score method, the admission cutoff score for this major is 25.28 points for blocks D01 and D78, and 24.78 points for blocks D04 and D83. The academic transcript method has a higher cutoff score of 27.21 points (D01, D04, D96, and D78).

Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages ​​and Information Technology

In 2023, Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages ​​- Information Technology set the admission cutoff score for the Chinese Language major at 16 points, with 4 subject combinations for admission: A01; D01; D04; D14.

In addition to admission based on high school graduation exam scores, the school also considers high school academic transcripts and scores from the aptitude test administered by the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Education

Ho Chi Minh City University of Education recruits students for the Chinese Language major through 5 methods: direct admission; priority admission and admission for students from specialized classes; admission based on academic transcripts combined with aptitude tests; admission based on academic transcripts; and admission based on high school graduation exam results.

With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, this year the Chinese Language major at the university has a cutoff score of 24.54 points for admission, considering two subject combinations D01 and D04. Meanwhile, the cutoff score for admission based on academic transcripts is as high as 27.57 points.

The estimated tuition fee for this program is 9.8 million VND per academic year.
