Dalat Street Fashion Show, a street fashion show in the series of activities “Dalat Art Road”, has just launched the “spring knitting” collection by designer Suong Nguyen. The show in the cold weather of the mountain town brings a lot of excitement.
On the afternoon of December 15, the People's Committee of Da Lat city, Lam Dong province , announced that a fashion show with the theme "Knitting spring clothes" had just taken place at the "Da Lat Art Street".

The program is organized by the People's Committee of Ward 1, Ward 2, Da Lat City and the City People's Committee in coordination with Stop And Go Art Space . This is an event to celebrate the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival in 2024).

In the light and chilly rain, the models presented 48 outfits inspired by the handmade sweaters of our grandparents' time by designer Suong Nguyen ( Ho Chi Minh City).
It is the story of a girl knitting a shirt to send to her lover on the battlefield.
The simple beauty of my grandmother and mother, along with traditional knitting, sewing and embroidery techniques that seemed to have faded over the years, have now been brilliantly revived.
The collection in "spring knitting" is stylized ao dai, hand-knitted sweaters, wedding ao dai costumes...

The models performed in the cold rainy afternoon of Da Lat, the romantic flower and grass scene impressed the viewers.
The collection “Knitting Spring” was chosen as the theme for the program, including 23 outfits made from wool, elaborately shaped, and completely hand-knitted.
The collection offers a new look at woolen garments, hand-embroidered, embellished with decorative fringes. The skillful combination of warm and cold colors, ombre hand-dyeing technique, and smooth color transitions like autumn raindrops falling on piano keys.
Or the Renaissance Granny Square pattern, or the realistic embroidery of the shimmering peacock dancing and showing off its colorful feathers under the golden sunset are never impossible for designer Suong Nguyen.
With silk, lace, velvet or cotton materials; with traditional ao dai shapes or casual wear... Suong Nguyen handles everything meticulously and delicately.
The material of the "Spring Knitting" collection is organic yarn from Egypt and Türkiye, dyed with organic colors, ombre tones as beautiful as the dreams in the story "The Little Prince".
Each design is meticulously and elaborately crafted; color coordination, paneling, and pattern creation throughout the crochet process.
The special highlight of the collection is the hand-crocheted ao dai. Although the patterns and color combinations are creative , they are still graceful and elegant.
With materials suitable for Da Lat's climate, designer Suong Nguyen's wool fashion brings a fresh, airy beauty in lines and color combinations.
Woolen dresses, shirts, and ao dai not only bring soft beauty to the wearer, but also keep warm in the cold weather of the mountain town of Da Lat. 
Accompanying Dalat Street Fashion Show are models who are Vietnamese world businesswomen, beauty queens, runner-ups and models in the flower city of Dalat.
“Da Lat Art Route” is a permanent project, contributing to bringing art closer to and interacting with the community, creating a unique and creative exchange space for locals and tourists right in the city center. At the same time, spreading the image of the land and people in the creative art city of Da Lat, the UNESCO creative music city and towards the heritage city.
