Bringing digital technology to business
Mr. Ho Phi Dung, Chairman of the Lang Son Provincial Business Association, said: Resolution 57 - NQ/TW of the Politburo dated December 22, 2024 on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation is of particular interest to the Lang Son Provincial Business Association. In order for the Association's members to quickly access and apply digital applications and AI to management, production and business, in recent times, we have promoted the organization of training courses, transfer and application of digital technology to business operations. At the same time, connecting with technology enterprises to solve problems of enterprises in the province. In particular, the Standing Committee of the Association has directed each member enterprise to have at least 1 AI virtual assistant to support improving the efficiency of business management and operation, thereby improving production and business efficiency, increasing competitiveness and flexible adaptation in the context of strong digital transformation.
There are currently over 4,300 businesses operating in the province. Recognizing the values that digital applications and artificial intelligence (AI) bring, members of the Standing Committee and Executive Board of the Association are pioneers in applying digital technology to management and direction. Up to now, each person has an AI virtual assistant to support the direction, management, data analysis and decision making at their business. In order for Association members to quickly access and apply digital applications and artificial intelligence (AI) to production, management and business, the Provincial Business Association has coordinated and organized specialized training courses on the application of digital technology and artificial intelligence (AI) in business operations such as: application of artificial intelligence in production and business; application of digital technology in business administration; Seminar on “Startup 4.0 – Accelerating success with AI”... Each activity attracted the participation of a large number of businesses in the province. Since the beginning of 2025, the Provincial Business Association has coordinated and organized 7 conferences and seminars on digital transformation, application of digital technology, AI in production and business with the participation of more than 500 members.
After the training courses, many businesses have gradually approached and applied digital technology and AI in a number of processes such as: analyzing and forecasting market demand; building plans to approach potential customers; human resource management; product promotion; designing products suitable for consumer tastes in different segments and regions; optimizing supply chains; personalizing consumer experiences... Effectively exploiting AI not only helps save costs and increase labor productivity but also enhances the competitiveness and adaptability of businesses in the context of strong digital transformation.
Application in management, production and business
From the training courses, members of the Provincial Business Association have actively and proactively applied digital technology and AI to production, management and business. At Thien Phu Trading and Construction Company Limited (Nam Hoang Dong I Urban Area, Tam Thanh Ward) since 2023, the company has proactively researched and applied digital applications and AI to its operations. Specifically, using integrated, interconnected shared software to replace the previous separate software, so that the needs of agents are entered by market staff via smartphones and tablets and sent directly to the office; after the goods are shipped from the warehouse, electronic invoices are also sent directly to customers. At the same time, through the digital application, managers can know the progress of each employee's tasks.
Mr. Tran The Kien, Director of Thien Phu Trading and Construction Company Limited, said: We have reduced 2 staff in the office department thanks to the application of digital technology and AI. These technologies help the office department to grasp and implement new legal regulations very quickly, saving time in drafting documents and performing accounting tasks. Working mainly in an electronic environment also helps the company save on hard costs such as printers, paper, depreciation of machinery and equipment, etc.
In addition to applying digital applications to management, production and business activities, enterprises in the province have also proactively researched and ordered technology companies to build specialized software suitable for the characteristics of their units. Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, Director of the Northeast Forestry Seed Joint Stock Company (Luong Van Tri Ward) said: The process of producing forestry seedlings from planting to shipping at our company usually lasts 2 to 3 years, each type of tree has a different planting time and care process. To calculate the cost of the product, accountants must collect information each year such as: labor costs, seed prices, material costs, etc. This takes a lot of time and is prone to errors. Therefore, we are currently ordering a technology company to build specialized accounting software suitable for the company's needs.
The application of digital technology and AI in enterprises has brought practical benefits in improving the efficiency of management, production and business. With the initiative of enterprises and the support of the Provincial Business Association, digital applications will continue to be strongly deployed, helping enterprises grow stronger and contribute positively to the overall development of the province.
