The luckiest thing is that I not only get to participate in a meaningful program, but also can spread the simple, genuine image of myself and my family to everyone." The post attracted more than 61,000 likes and many comments, shares with lots of compliments and encouragement.

Through 4 episodes aired with the main setting at Ban Lien Pine homestay, the close, rustic, simple and hospitable image of Ms. Thong and her husband as well as many other families here has "touched" the audience. Episode 4 - the latest broadcast episode has attracted nearly 3 million views on YouTube and ranked 3rd in trending. Some previous episodes also reached 3-5 million views. However, beyond those statistics are the real values that the program brings to the lives of local people. Since the end of June, after the new program aired, Ms. Thong announced that her homestay was fully booked in July, with only a few days left in August and September. Many tourists who want to experience life in Ban Lien continuously texted to book rooms and reserve seats. “We make reality shows not only for the audience to watch, but they will also see the artists' experiences and connections with the people,” said a representative of the production unit of the program Gia Dinh Haha.

Recently, many television programs have gone beyond entertainment to make practical contributions to the community. In the episode recorded on the afternoon of July 6 in Da Nang , the program Vietnamese Family Home called for donations of 332 million VND from local audiences, breaking the record of the same morning (over 318 million VND). After 3 days of recording here, the program received 3.2 billion VND to send to 18 families with orphans and children in especially difficult circumstances. The program also set a record of the total amount of money received by a character after the recording session, about 250 million VND.

The heat is back

Recently, many entertainment programs on television have continuously attracted attention for many different reasons. From programs with a new format "movie in a show" (integrating movie elements into a TV show - pv) such as Accelerated Arena, gathering famous contestants such as Em xinh say hi, or familiar family themes such as Mom away from home, dad is superman... all attract a large number of viewers and interactions on social networking platforms. For example, Vietnamese Family Home has more than 10 different communication channels, regularly posting articles to maintain interaction. With programs with the participation of artists, the resonance is even greater. According to an article shared about the last breakfast at Ms. Thong's homestay by Jun Pham, it attracted more than 93,000 likes, hundreds of comments and shares. Catching up with the heat, in addition to the official program, producer Yeah1 also launched a derivative series Gia Dinh haha.
