During 4 days (September 24-25 and September 28-29), the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra (ESO) from Taiwan (China) will bring to audiences in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City special musical feasts, both classical and modern.
This is the second time ESO has come to Vietnam since 2019 and is expected to open a new chapter in Taiwan - Vietnam cultural exchange.
ESO will perform at the City Theater on September 24 and 25 and at the Hoan Kiem Theater ( Hanoi ) on September 28 and 29.

The first three shows, led by the famous Austrian conductor Lorenz Aichner, promise to bring the audience a colorful musical journey, from classical symphonies to world folk songs and immortal movie soundtracks from “Star Wars” and “Pirates of the Caribbean”.
In particular, singer Duong Hoang Yen was also invited to perform with ESO on this tour. Duong Hoang Yen's powerful voice and skillful vocal skills are demonstrated through Vietnamese folk songs as well as famous Chinese and English love songs, promising to bring a musical feast that is both classical and modern.
The final highlight of the tour will be the participation of French conductor Olivier Ochanine from the Sun Symphony Orchestra (SSO). On the concert night of September 29, he will conduct a joint performance between the ESO and the SSO.
The performances in this music night are a blend of classical and folk, including classics such as “Overture to the Thieving Magpie” by Gioachino Rossini, “Danse Bacchanale” by Charles Camille Saint-Saëns and “Vu dieu Cheo va Len Dong” by composer Dang Huu Phuc.
ESO is one of the few professional symphony orchestras in the world and the only orchestra in Taiwan that is independently operated and managed by a private foundation. In the 23 years since its establishment, ESO has not only devoted itself to promoting symphonic music in Taiwan but has also organized more than 80 concerts, large and small, in many countries around the world.
