Thuong Ninh Commune organized many gratitude activities on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), Thuong Ninh commune organized many meaningful and practical activities to honor the heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, and families with meritorious services to the revolution in the area.

Delegation of Thuong Ninh commune offered flowers and incense at the Memorial House of Dong Tam village.

Thuong Ninh commune currently has over 227 war invalids, sick soldiers, and people with meritorious services to the revolution. During the months of July, the leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and other organizations, agencies, and units in the area organized many meaningful activities.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Tuat, Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council visited and gave gifts to policy families.

Accordingly, the commune organized flower and incense offerings at the memorial stele of heroic martyrs and organized visits and gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services to the revolution. In addition to the gifts from the Central and the province sent to families of war invalids, martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution, Thuong Ninh commune also reserved 32 gifts for families of policy beneficiaries with especially difficult circumstances.

Comrade Le Duc Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thuong Ninh commune visited and presented gifts to policy families.

The warm and meaningful gifts not only have material value but also sentiments and sacred responsibilities, expressing the deep gratitude of the cadres and people of Thuong Ninh commune for the contributions and sacrifices of the heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers who fought for the Fatherland and the People.

Thuong Ninh Commune received gifts from Agribank, Nhu Xuan Nam Thanh Hoa branch, to war invalids and martyrs' relatives.
