Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong holds the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province.

On October 17, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province held a consultation conference to elect the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the 15th term, 2024-2029.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province for the 2024-2029 term, spoke at the Conference.

At the conference, 100% of the members unanimously agreed to elect Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province, to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province, term XV, 2024-2029.

Deputy Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh requested Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong to continue promoting his spirit and responsibility, effectively coordinating with mass organizations, inheriting and promoting the achievements of the Provincial Fatherland Front; performing well the role of supervision, criticism, concretizing the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, strengthening the great solidarity bloc, creating consensus among the people.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong was born in 1985, has a Master's degree in Economic Management, and is a senior in political theory. He has held the following positions: Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Duc Tho District Party Committee (formerly), Secretary of the Duc Thinh Commune Party Committee, and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh Province.
After the 20th Congress of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, at the first Conference, the Executive Committee of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee, term 20, elected Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong to join the Provincial Standing Committee for the term 2025-2030.

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province presented flowers to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong thanked the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and agencies and units for their trust and confidence. He said he would accept the guidance of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Linh, constantly strive, train, promote spirit, responsibility, youth, inherit and promote the achievements of the Fatherland Front in the past time to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

On the same day, Mr. Tran Nhat Tan, former Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province, was mobilized and appointed by the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee.
