Agribank Bac Lieu Party Committee: A term full of pride

It must be affirmed that the 8th Congress of the Party Committee of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development - Bac Lieu Branch ( Agribank Bac Lieu) for the 2025 - 2030 term is an important political event held at a time when many important events of the country are taking place, aiming to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the 10th Congress of Agribank Party Delegates. At the same time, continue to promote emulation movements for the 2025 - 2030 term associated with the era of national development.

MANY COMMENDABLE ACHIEVEMENTS

During the past term, Agribank Bac Lieu has promoted the tradition of solidarity, joined hands and completed the assigned tasks and contributed very positively to the socio -economic development of the locality, especially increasing capital investment for the development of "three agricultures" and always accompanying and sharing difficulties with businesses and farmers. These remarkable results were achieved during the 2020 - 2025 term, the Party Committee led and directed the successful completion of the goals and tasks of Party building work according to the Resolution of the 7th Congress for the 2020 - 2025 term with many remarkable results such as: The Party Committee in the years 2020 - 2024 always "completed its tasks well" or better; 100% of the affiliated Party cells completed their tasks well or better and there was no Party cell that "failed to complete its tasks". At the end of the term, the number of Party members in the Party Committee achieving the title of "Completing tasks well" reached 97% of the Resolution, there were no Party members "not completing tasks". Notably, during the term, 23 new Party members were admitted, reaching 140% of the Resolution and the mass organizations annually achieved the title of Excellently completing tasks.

Most commendable is that during the past term, the Party Executive Committee of Agribank Bac Lieu directed the Trade Union and Youth Union to annually mobilize union members and employees to carry out charity, social security, and gratitude activities. Thereby, 100% of union members and employees participated in contributing to various types of charity funds and social funds and considered this a responsibility, obligation, and noble gesture to contribute to the community. The results of implementing social security programs from 2020 to 2024 totaled nearly 23 billion VND with many activities such as: giving gifts to poor households to celebrate the New Year; supporting funding for building schools in Phuoc Long district; sponsoring education, donating IT equipment with the theme "More letters, less poverty" to schools in the districts; supporting the construction of gratitude houses, charity houses for poor and near-poor households in the area; sponsoring healthcare; spending on other social security activities and financial support for COVID-19 prevention and control work...

Along with this work, based on the assigned planning targets, closely following the annual key program, the Party Committee leads the professional development of specific programs and plans to launch movements in each emulation period associated with political events launched by Agribank, including: emulation movement for excellent workers to excellently complete the annual business plan targets; movement to build and develop the brand and implement Agribank culture; movement to study and improve professional ethics among cadres, civil servants, and workers, associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style... These emulation movements have created a strong spread, encouraging workers to work enthusiastically. At the end of each emulation period, timely evaluation and rewards are organized, combining well with spiritual encouragement, thereby creating a strong driving force to promote the emulation movement to develop both in breadth and depth...

According to forecasts, Vietnam's economic prospects will continue to grow and become the focus of investment capital flows in the region with opportunities to expand in many fields and continue the policy of deep integration through a series of free trade agreements, improving the investment and business environment, restructuring the economy, etc.

With the premise, dynamism, sensitivity in grasping the market and continuing to affirm the brand of a bank that always accompanies the prosperous development of the country, in the period of 2025 - 2030, the banking system in general, Agribank Bac Lieu in particular, will continue to innovate methods, improve the capacity and fighting strength of the entire Party Committee in general and of each Party Committee member and Party member in particular. Thoroughly imbue Party members and employees to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, the regulations and rules of the State Bank, the Party Committee, the Board of Members, and the Executive Board of Agribank. At the same time, promote the spirit of initiative and creativity, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, closely follow the direction of Party Committees at all levels, strictly comply with professional processes to effectively exploit resources, invest capital for economic development, contribute to the economic restructuring inside and outside the area. Continuously improving credit quality, credit growth coupled with service development and development of new, modern products and services, applying digital banking and increasing investment in building facilities and equipment, enhancing competitiveness to maintain the market and market share... are also the directions and tasks that Agribank Bac Lieu sets out in the new term.

Agribank Bac Lieu will continue to improve the model and organization of the branch's operating apparatus; complete, innovate and improve governance, management, regulations and business processes to meet safe and effective business operations; enhance the leadership role of the Party organization, the quality of Party committee and Party cell activities; strictly implement the principle of democratic centralism, promote strength, solidarity, intellectual democracy to build a clean and strong Party organization. Improve financial capacity, ensure stability and improve the income and life of workers; fully perform obligations to the State and actively contribute to social security, national defense - security and order in the area...

Along with that, it is necessary to focus on promoting and marketing well and diversifying the forms of mobilization, terms and interest rates to achieve the annual capital plan; finding and applying strategic policies to each customer group depending on the scale and stability of capital sources with reasonable and flexible interest rates according to the regulations of the State Bank and Agribank. Stable credit growth on the basis of ensuring capital safety and developing products and services; improving the quality of credit activities, focusing on urging the recovery of bad debts and outstanding debts, associating collective and individual responsibilities with the implementation results. Strengthening the promotion and introduction of Agribank products and services, brand and improving the quality of existing products and services, proactively and actively exploiting and expanding the market, deploying new banking products and services, modern technology...
