During the historic days of April, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Truong Sa, the working delegation of the province led by comrade Vu Viet Van, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and encouraged the officers and soldiers working in Truong Sa archipelago, Khanh Hoa province and DK1/11 Platform.
Vinh Phuc province delegation presented gifts to officers, soldiers and people of Truong Sa island.
From April 17 to April 23, the provincial delegation visited officers, soldiers and people on Sinh Ton Island; visited officers and soldiers on duty at Co Lin Island, Da Dong C, Da Tay A, Truong Sa Island and DK1/11 Platform. The provincial delegation also spent a lot of time visiting and giving gifts to households living on the island; visiting and encouraging soldiers from Vinh Phuc who are working on Truong Sa Island. The total value of money and gifts presented by the Vinh Phuc delegation to the Navy and the people of Truong Sa island district and DK1 platform was over 2 billion VND.
After a voyage of more than 1,000 nautical miles to visit and give gifts to soldiers and people of Truong Sa island district and DKI platform, the provincial delegation returned to the mainland safely and successfully.
The visit was also a valuable experience for the members of the delegation, clearly feeling the meaning: Bringing out feelings, bringing back faith; Sacred sovereignty , faith and responsibility for the sea and islands of the homeland.
The working trip demonstrates the sentiment and responsibility of the Party Committee, government and people of Vinh Phuc province towards the cause of protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland; at the same time, it contributes to fueling the tradition of patriotism for today's and future generations.
