Mau Son Commune was established on the basis of merging 3 administrative units: Yen Khoi, Tu Mich and Mau Son. After the merger, the commune has 19 villages, with over 9,600 people of 4 ethnic groups: Tay, Nung, Dao, Kinh living together.
According to the report, in the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee and the people in the area have made efforts to achieve and exceed the set targets 24/24. Party building work has been focused on, admitting 118 new party members, maintaining 46 skillful mass mobilization models. In terms of economy and society, the average income reached 50.2 million VND/person/year; the poverty rate decreased to 3.74%. Attention has been paid to the fields of culture, health, and education, the rate of national standard schools reached 75%, health insurance reached over 93%, there are no more temporary or dilapidated houses; national identity is preserved, and friendly border relations are maintained in order.
At the congress, delegates voted to approve the Political Report and the Review Report of the Party Executive Committee of the previous term, and discussed and contributed many valid opinions to the draft Resolution of the Party Congress of the commune for the 2025-2030 term.
Speaking at the congress, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission acknowledged and commended the outstanding results that the Party Committee and people of Mau Son commune have achieved in the past term.
