Along with promoting internal resources, taking advantage of the attention of superior Party committees and provincial departments and branches, in the 2020-2025 term, the old communes have achieved many important targets and exceeded the plan, creating a solid foundation for the development of Yen Truong commune in the new period. Notably, Yen Truong commune has 24/26 targets reaching and exceeding the plan, of which 21 targets were exceeded and 3 targets were 100% completed. Typically, the growth rate of total product value in the area in the 2023-2025 period reached 7.78%, exceeding the set target. The New Rural Development Program achieved positive results, with 3/4 old communes meeting the standards of advanced New Rural Communes. Digital transformation activities, administrative procedure reform, attracting investment capital to build socio-economic infrastructure, key programs, and breakthroughs achieved high results, contributing to the implementation of the commune's political tasks. National defense, security and social order and safety are maintained. Party and political system building has achieved important results, and people trust the leadership of the Party and the administration of the government.
Immediately after the merger, all work in the new Yen Truong commune has been and is being implemented in accordance with the correct procedures, in accordance with the law and with the high consensus of the people. The Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Yen Truong commune has quickly consolidated its organization, committed to accompanying, listening to and supporting the people, union members and association members in each step of the transformation to ensure stability and sustainable development.

Comrade Pham Tien Dung, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Commune People's Council, said: “After the merger, the new Yen Truong commune has many potentials and outstanding advantages, which are favorable conditions for breakthroughs, rapid and sustainable development. These are: large population size, abundant labor force, and increasingly improved educational level. Large land area can be planned for residential, commercial, production and service areas in line with the urbanization orientation; the basic infrastructure system is being gradually invested and completed. Civil works, health care, education, and transportation are continuing to be upgraded to meet the development needs of the locality in the new period. In addition, the commune has a strategic geographical location, located near key traffic routes, convenient for trade, service development, and investment attraction. The staff and civil servants after the merger have been strengthened, have capacity, sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for work. Yen Truong people have a tradition of solidarity, diligence, creativity and especially promoting the tradition of the revolutionary homeland visited by Uncle Ho (December 1961). This is a solid foundation for the commune to implement socio -economic development goals in the coming time".
In the context of the country's strong transformation into the era of national development, in the 2025-2030 term, the commune Party Committee has identified the key task as promoting the building and rectification of the Party and the political system, strongly innovating the leadership methods of Party committees at all levels; improving the effectiveness and efficiency of State management, direction and administration of the government; clearly innovating the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations. Promoting administrative reform, digital transformation, improving the quality of service to the people and businesses. Promoting historical, cultural, revolutionary traditions and the spirit of national solidarity; arousing the will of self-reliance, self-reliance and the desire to rise strongly. Mobilizing and effectively using resources, maximizing the potential and advantages of the locality. Prioritizing investment in synchronous and modern socio-economic infrastructure, especially transportation, production infrastructure, information technology and tourism infrastructure. Improve the quality of education , health care, culture, and implement social security policies well. The commune government strictly implements discipline and order, does not avoid or shirk responsibility; clearly assigns people, tasks, responsibilities, and results, and aims to serve the people.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", in the 2025-2030 term, Yen Truong Commune Party Committee sets out 11 economic targets, including striving for an average annual growth rate of total product value in the area of 11.5% or more; average income per capita/year by 2030 reaching 115 million VND or more; the area of agricultural land accumulated for large-scale agricultural production applying high technology in the 2026-2030 period reaching 330 hectares; investment capital from the local State budget in the 2026-2030 period reaching 500 billion VND or more...
The vegetable and mustard growing area "for the king" has been recognized as a 3-star OCOP product of Yen Truong commune.
In addition, 7 socio-cultural targets, 3 environmental targets, 1 national defense and security target, 2 Party building targets are set, in which every year, over 90% of Party Committees and affiliated Party cells are evaluated and classified as having completed their tasks well or better, and admitting 48 or more Party members.
To implement the above targets, key tasks and breakthroughs, the Party Committee of Yen Truong commune has proposed key solutions for each target and task. Priority is given to breakthrough and key solutions in each field. With high political determination, the Party Committee, government and people of Yen Truong commune continue to preserve and promote the tradition of solidarity, revolutionary culture and history; seize opportunities, overcome challenges, innovate comprehensively, take drastic actions, strive to successfully implement the goals and tasks of the Party Congress of the commune for the 2025-2030 term, contributing to the whole province's successful implementation of the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.
Welcoming the 1st Party Congress of the commune, term 2025-2030, the roads were hung with flags and billboards for propaganda, creating an exciting atmosphere among the people.
