The Philippine island of Palawan topped the list of “10 most beautiful islands in the world ” in a survey conducted by the Spanish monthly magazine “Muy Interesante” (Very interesting) with OpenAI’s GPT-4 artificial intelligence (IA) applications and published on August 13.

Experts of this popular science magazine published in more than 10 countries with more than 350,000 copies/issue highly appreciated the usefulness of IA in this form of voting, and the selection results of artificial intelligence this time were quite consistent with the assessments of specialized travel guide sites.

Palawan, often referred to as the “last frontier of the Philippines,” is famous for its Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, where visitors can admire an 8.2km-long underground river and other picturesque beauty.

This park has been recognized as a World Heritage Site by the United NationsEducational , Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

Second on the list of the most beautiful islands in the world selected by IA is the Seychelles Islands in the Indian Ocean, featuring white sand beaches, rare endemic animals and impressive seabed landscapes.

Bora Bora, in French Polynesia, also known as the “Pearl of the Pacific,” ranked third on the list thanks to its luxurious resorts, spectacular marine life, and iconic Otemanu Mountain covered in unique vegetation.

The next positions on this list are Santorini, Greece – famous for its breathtaking sunsets; Maldives – a paradise of coral reefs in the Indian Ocean and home to more than 2,000 species of fish; Maui – the second largest island and most attractive to tourists in Hawaii (USA) but recently attacked by the “fire god”; the Galapagos Islands of Ecuador – where the pristine and closed ecosystem once inspired the great scientist Charles Darwin to develop the “theory of evolution”; Bali, Indonesia; Zanzibar, Tanzania; Kauai – also in Hawaii and Madagascar.
