The program is specially designed, closely following the operational practices of hydroelectric and solar power plants under TMP, covering from basic knowledge to in-depth topics.
During the training course, trainees are updated with an overview of Vietnam's power system, and master the latest operating standards and regulations. At the same time, they will delve into strategic content such as real-time dispatch coordination, equipment maintenance and repair planning, system operation in conditions of rapidly increasing renewable energy proportion, as well as the development mechanism of the competitive electricity market.
In addition, students will be updated on the operating results of the first 6 months of 2025, plans to ensure power supply during the dry season, and participate in analyzing situations and practicing troubleshooting operations in the National Power System, including the principles of system startup and recovery. These contents not only help consolidate theoretical knowledge but also enhance students' ability to respond quickly and accurately in a real operating environment.

The trainees highly appreciated the harmonious combination of in-depth knowledge and high applicability of the program, affirming that they can immediately apply it to the operations of their units. With careful preparation from content to teaching methods, the course has brought practical value, contributing to improving the quality of operations, while enhancing TMP's competitiveness when participating in the increasingly expanding electricity market.
The joint implementation of practical training between TMP and NSMO is not only aimed at improving the capacity of technical staff, but is also a strategic step to strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two units, contributing to ensuring the safe, stable and efficient operation of the national power system. This is also a testament to TMP's proactiveness, responsibility and long-term vision in the sustainable development roadmap, flexibly adapting to the new context of Vietnam's energy industry.
