The End for Endrick

Coach Xabi Alonso has carefully assessed the current squad and is said to have sent a list of 5 players not in the plan to President Florentino Perez.

Endrick is on Real's clearance list.

The list includes notable names such as Ferland Mendy, David Alaba, Raul Asencio, Brahim Diaz and Endrick. These are all players who were once expected to play important roles at the Bernabeu, but for various reasons, they are gradually losing their position.

According to AS , Real Madrid could sell Mendy and Alaba outright to reduce their wage bill, while Brahim, Endrick and Asencio are likely to be loaned out, before the Spanish Royal team reassesses the situation.

In defense, Ferland Mendy and David Alaba are the two most unfortunate cases. Mendy has been constantly struggling with injuries, his inconsistent form has prevented him from keeping his official position. Meanwhile, Alaba has also clearly declined after a long series of injuries, gradually losing stability and having to give way to Eder Militao or Dean Huijsen.

Next up is Raul Asencio, a youngster who emerged from Castilla (Real Madrid's B team). He impressed last season, but when Alonso took over, Asencio fell out of favour and was often benched.

Up front, Brahim Diaz is said to be unsuitable for Alonso's tactical philosophy. The Spanish-born Moroccan midfielder often plays well in a free role, but Alonso's system of pressing and tight ball control requires more.

The most notable name is Endrick, the “Brazilian prodigy” who is also having difficulty adapting. This season, the young star born in 2007 has not played a single minute.

Although there has been no official announcement, this move shows that Alonso wants to rebuild the squad in a youthful direction and build its own identity at Bernabeu.
