Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, on behalf of the Prime Minister, signed and issued Decision No. 946/QD-TTg approving the investment policy to adjust the Ba Na - Suoi Mo Tourist Complex Project.

The total investment capital of the Ba Na - Suoi Mo Eco-tourism and Urban Area Complex project was approved by the Government to increase to nearly 52,000 billion VND - equivalent to about 2 billion USD.

Accordingly, the official name of the project is Ba Na - Suoi Mo Urban and Eco-Tourism Complex.

The Project's objective is to invest in the complete and synchronous construction of technical infrastructure, social infrastructure, commercial, tourism, service, accommodation, entertainment and other types of works, aiming to turn this area into a top-quality, classy entertainment, resort, living and working destination in Vietnam, meeting the diverse needs of tourists and residents.

The adjustment does not change the previously approved project boundaries, but adjusts the items and functional areas to ensure suitability and efficiency in exploitation and operation to serve tourism development.

The project adjustment aims to gradually concretize the development orientations in the Da Nang City Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050, in line with the development perspective clearly stated in this Planning: "Tourism associated with resort real estate, international event centers and cultural factors, creating uniqueness, difference, creating added value for the Tourism pillar" - one of the three economic pillars of Da Nang city.
