On May 25, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed and issued Directive No. 15/CT-TTg requesting ministries, branches, and localities to speed up the progress and improve the quality of planning work for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

The Prime Minister requested ministries and localities to speed up the progress of establishing, appraising, deciding or approving national, regional and provincial planning to basically complete it in 2023 as planned and speed up the progress of establishing, appraising and approving planning for the 2021-2030 period.

In addition, focus on allocating resources, proposing or promulgating mechanisms and policies to effectively implement planning objectives, ensuring consistency and synchronization with the implementation of the 10-year Socio -Economic Development Strategy 2021-2030, socio-economic development plans of ministries and localities. Ministries and branches coordinate synchronously, closely and effectively with localities, especially prioritizing the two cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, to resolve bottlenecks in the socio-economic development process and in planning work.
