National Assembly representatives from Lam Dong province meet with voters in Phuc Tho commune, Lam Ha district.

On the morning of May 7th, in Phuc Tho commune, Lam Ha district, the Lam Dong Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies held a meeting with voters following the first session of the 16th National Assembly.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Lam Van Doan, Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly 's Committee on Culture and Social Affairs; Ms. Cil Bri, Deputy Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion of Lam Dong province; along with representatives from the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, various departments and agencies, and local Party committees and authorities.

At the conference, representatives of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation informed voters about the key contents of the first session of the 16th National Assembly; in particular, emphasizing decisions related to the restructuring of the State apparatus, socio -economic development orientation, and major policies that directly impact the lives of the people.

In a democratic and frank atmosphere, voters in Phuc Tho commune, Lam Ha district, expressed their agreement with the results of the session, while also raising many difficulties and obstacles in the locality.

Many opinions focused on the issue of slow project implementation, while land acquisition was being carried out urgently, causing anxiety and frustration among the people.

Voters also reflected on the many shortcomings in the handling of administrative procedures, which force people to travel multiple times, affecting their lives and production.

In addition, many opinions suggested paying attention to investing in and upgrading rural transportation systems to create favorable conditions for travel, goods transportation, and access to healthcare and education services for people in remote areas.

Representatives from the Phuc Tho Commune Police Department in Lam Ha District gave speeches and answered questions from the people.

In addition, voters proposed strengthening the implementation of social security policies for people with meritorious service; improving healthcare at the grassroots level, contributing to narrowing the development gap between remote and rural areas and urban centers.

During the meeting, representatives from various departments, agencies, and local authorities directly discussed and clarified several issues within their jurisdiction; they also recorded and compiled suggestions to report to relevant agencies for consideration and resolution in the future.

Mr. Lam Van Doan, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Social Affairs, delivered a speech, acknowledging and responding to voters' opinions.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Lam Van Doan highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and the heartfelt, practical opinions of the local voters; and affirmed that the Provincial National Assembly Delegation would fully receive the opinions and suggestions of the voters to convey them to the National Assembly, the Government, and the central ministries and agencies.

Mr. Lam Van Doan also requested that departments, agencies, and localities strengthen coordination and focus on resolving issues within their jurisdiction, avoiding prolonged situations that affect the legitimate rights of the people.
