In the context of deep international economic integration, the private economy has been identified by the Party and State as one of the important driving forces for the sustainable development of the country in general and Lang Son in particular. Realizing this, in recent years, the province has created favorable conditions for the private enterprise sector to maximize its potential.
The local dialogue round of the private economic forum held in Lang Son in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution 68 of the Politburo has helped the government have more information, better understand the difficulties, obstacles, thoughts and aspirations that businesses are struggling with. This is also an opportunity for Lang Son to introduce and promote its potential, advantages, and information on policy mechanisms to attract investment in areas such as border gate economy, deep processing industry, green agriculture, tourism, etc.
Mr. Tran Van Minh, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Young Entrepreneurs Association, said: The local dialogue round of the Northeast cluster private economic forum organized by the Lang Son Young Entrepreneurs Association has created many positive impressions for the business community. Through discussions at the dialogue round, Lang Son entrepreneurs proposed many solutions to the government to help businesses develop such as: implementing administrative procedures, tax policies, land planning, issues related to infrastructure in border gate areas...
During the dialogue round, businesses promoted interaction and sought information to enhance cooperation.
Sharing about cooperation opportunities with Lang Son enterprises and enterprises nationwide, Mr. Nguyen Vu Linh, Chairman of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Business Association, said: Lang Son and Tuyen Quang have common points in global geoparks and border gates, these are areas where enterprises of the two provinces can cooperate. During the forum's activities, enterprises highly appreciated the commitment of Lang Son provincial leaders in accompanying enterprises to implement investment projects such as: the province established a special working group to remove difficulties for enterprises and investors to implement projects; strengthen dialogue; study to shorten investment and land procedures and strengthen electronic one-stop shop in performing transactions.
Mr. La Giang Nam, Chairman of Lang Son Young Entrepreneurs Association shared: During the dialogue round, Lang Son Young Entrepreneurs Association received many suggestions from enterprises in the cluster, enterprises from provinces and cities across the country on the following contents: implementing projects on cross-border logistics development, promoting e-commerce; developing digital tourism associated with exploiting global geoparks; developing smart agriculture, linking to build and develop local product brands to promote the people's economy. This is an opportunity for young enterprises of Lang Son to research, mobilize resources, and boldly link to implement projects to improve the competitiveness of enterprises.
Assessing the results achieved at the local dialogue round of the Northeast Cluster Private Economic Forum held in Lang Son, Mr. Hoang Cong Doan, Vice President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association, said: This dialogue round not only recorded many voices and expectations of businesses related to promoting the potential strengths of each locality, but also provided a space for businesses to debate and propose policies connecting from the grassroots level to the ministries, branches and Government. At the same time, the forum also pointed out the challenges of the region: unsynchronized infrastructure, high logistics costs, limited human resources, small-scale businesses and weak access to policies.
Mr. Doan proposed: Lang Son Provincial Government should proactively grasp the trends of the large Chinese market and new policies to perfect the institutions; build appropriate economic development strategies with a long-term vision. Thereby creating an open investment and business environment to help enterprises have the opportunity to expand production and business, making increasingly greater contributions to the economy in conjunction with effectively implementing Resolution 68 of the Politburo.
The local dialogue round of the Northeast Cluster Private Economic Forum in Lang Son has created a model of effective interaction between the government and businesses and entrepreneurs in creating a business production environment for private enterprises to develop freely. This is a key factor for Lang Son to continue to develop sustainably, becoming an attractive destination for domestic and foreign investors, contributing to the common prosperity of the province, the region and the whole country.
