Let the Mid-Autumn Festival spread joy and hope

DNO - Mid-Autumn Festival 2025 is approaching, all over the city, many meaningful activities are being organized, bringing joy, sharing and love to children, especially children in difficult circumstances, orphans and disabled children.

In recent days, in Tam Anh commune, local youth have promoted the spirit of volunteering with the model of "Car wash to raise funds". The program was implemented by the Commune Youth Union in coordination with the Lua Hong Club, aiming to raise funds for the Mid-Autumn Festival and give gifts to disadvantaged children, contributing to bringing them a warm and meaningful full moon festival.

Mr. Huynh Minh Phat, Secretary of the Tam Anh Commune Youth Union, added that the Commune Youth Union also organized lantern sales and live broadcasts on social networks to spread the meaning of the program, while mobilizing more social resources. Up to now, 800 lanterns have been sold, contributing to creating a practical fund for the Mid-Autumn Festival for Tam Anh children.

Meanwhile, in Tra Linh commune, the Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere was filled with colors of love. The commune police teamed up with a volunteer group to organize the "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival" program for students of Long Tuc Ethnic Boarding Primary and Secondary School in village 7.

More than 300 Mid-Autumn gifts were given to students of Long Tuc School and Tra Nam Kindergarten, in addition to 40 special gifts to encourage them to overcome difficulties in studying. The delegation also presented practical gifts to the authorities of Village 7, contributing to supporting local life.

In Lien Chieu ward, the spirit of “leaving no one behind” is realized through many meaningful activities. Vice Chairman of Lien Chieu ward People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Lich said that the locality plans to spend about 300 million VND to give gifts to 250 disadvantaged children (500,000 VND/gift) and organize a Mid-Autumn Festival, bringing a warm and complete festival atmosphere to children.

The Mid-Autumn Festival atmosphere is also bustling in Hoa Tien commune. Chairman of the People's Committee Nguyen Tan Khoa informed that the locality has allocated nearly 170 million VND to organize the Mid-Autumn Festival, including many scholarships and gifts mobilized from charitable organizations and individuals. These efforts not only bring joy to children but also contribute to spreading the message of community responsibility in caring for, protecting and educating the younger generation.

With the spirit of sharing, Hoa Xuan Ward has identified its responsibility to care for children through many meaningful activities. Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee Le Cong Dong said that this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, the locality will focus on raising public awareness about protecting and educating children, while mobilizing the cooperation of families, schools and society so that all children can have a safe and joyful full moon festival. In particular, the program "Mid-Autumn Festival for Children" with lion dance, performing arts, breaking cakes, giving gifts and scholarships promises to bring complete joy.

The Mid-Autumn Festival is not only a festival for children but also an occasion to remind the whole society of its responsibility in protecting, caring for and educating children. Practical activities imbued with love and compassion are being carried out everywhere, adding faith, sowing hope, encouraging children to be confident and steadfast in their studies.
