Proposal to recognize 12 model new rural communes and advanced new rural communes

Thanh Phuoc Commune, Giong Rieng District was recognized as meeting new rural model standards in 2024.

Three communes that have met the new rural model standards include: Thanh Phuoc (Giong Rieng), Binh Minh commune (Vinh Thuan), and Binh An commune (Kien Luong).

Nine communes have met the advanced new rural standards, including Dinh Hoa, Vinh Hoa Hung Bac, Vinh Phuoc A (Go Quao); Hoa Loi (Giong Rieng); Vinh Phong (Vinh Thuan); Van Khanh, Thuan Hoa (An Minh); An Son (Kien Hai); Duong Hoa (Kien Luong).

According to the Office of New Rural Area Coordination of Kien Giang province, it is estimated that by December 16, the province has 112 communes meeting new rural standards, 32 communes meeting advanced new rural standards and 3 model new rural communes.
