Mathematics exam for admission to 10th grade in Hanoi

On the morning of May 31st, more than 124,000 candidates taking the entrance exam for non-specialized 10th grade classes in Hanoi completed the Mathematics exam.

The math exam questions are as follows:

Bui Van Duc Anh (a student from Van Ho Secondary School) assessed the exam as good and manageable for most students. The question types and structure were similar to last year. However, the geometry question in question 4 remained the most challenging for candidates. The male student was most impressed by question 5, which incorporated practical knowledge into the problem. Duc Anh only took 100 minutes to complete the exam and is confident of scoring above 9 points.

Thus, over 124,000 candidates have completed the entrance exam for non-specialized 10th grade in Hanoi . On June 1st, candidates applying to specialized schools will take an additional specialized subject exam.

This year, approximately 56% of junior high school graduates have secured a place in 10th grade at public high schools. The remaining students will attend private high schools, vocational training centers, or continuing education programs.
