Below is the English exam for grade 10 of the High School for Natural Sciences , University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi in 2025:
In the 2025-2026 school year, the High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences will enroll 525 students in grade 10 with 5 specialized blocks including Math, Informatics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology; each specialized block has 105 students.
Of the 3,000 applications the school received, 855 were for the IT major, with a "competition" ratio of 1/8.1; meaning 8 students took the exam, only 1 was accepted. The second place was for the Math major with 603 applications, with a "competition" ratio of 1/5.7. The Biology major had the lowest "competition" ratio of 1/3.9.
This year's exam takes place over two days, June 1 and 2. All candidates must take three general exams: Literature, Math (round 1) and English.
Tomorrow, June 2, candidates will take the specialized subject exam (150 minutes) corresponding to the registered specialized block, including: Math (round 2) for candidates applying for the Math and Informatics majors; Informatics for candidates applying for the Informatics major; Natural Sciences - Physics knowledge and skills for candidates applying for the Physics major; Natural Sciences - Chemistry knowledge and skills for candidates applying for the Chemistry major; Natural Sciences - Biology knowledge and skills for candidates applying for the Biology major.
Exam results will be announced before June 24. Successful candidates are expected to enroll directly on July 10.
