(HGO) - On the afternoon of September 30, Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, had a working session with the Vietnam Entertainment E-Sports Association (VIRESA) to learn about investment policies in the Digital Technology Park and plans to organize an E-Sports Festival in Hau Giang .
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Vinh (in white shirt), representative of the Vietnam E- Sports Entertainment Association, informed about the planned organization of the E -Sports Festival in Hau Giang.
At the meeting, VIRESA representative informed: The E-Sports Festival is expected to be held for 2 days in Vi Thanh city, around January 2025. The program will have 5 activities: Exhibition of booths introducing games, career opportunities, cosplay, giving souvenirs; small-scale tournaments for players in the Mekong Delta region; seminars to exchange and introduce technology and career opportunities; connecting B2B Startup competitions, organizing investment connections; music performances, cosplay, KOL and streamer exchanges. Some genres of electronic games will be in the event such as Free Fire, PUBG/PUBG mobile, Raid, Truy Kich, Lien Quan Mobile, Mobile Legends Bang Bang... expected to attract 5,000 - 10,000 visitors and 1 - 2 million viewers, online interaction views on social networks.

The event aims to create a highlight to attract human resources and high-tech personnel to the locality to work. Attract investment, create incentives for large enterprises to invest, create jobs for local people and incubate startups to develop.
Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, shared: In the past time, Hau Giang province has organized many activities to create highlights, resonate effectively, and bring about substantial results. On behalf of the provincial leaders, I would like to sincerely thank the Vietnam Entertainment E-Sports Association for choosing Hau Giang to organize a major e-sports event. I propose that after the working session, the Vietnam Entertainment E-Sports Association complete the detailed documents on the content, organization form, and activities in the proposal to organize the E-Sports Festival so that the province can better understand and consider before approving the implementation policy.
Regarding investment incentives in Hau Giang, Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen said that investing enterprises will enjoy many policies according to regulations. The province always creates the best conditions for investors, hoping that the investment interest of enterprises will contribute to the gradual completion of Hau Giang Digital Technology Park...
