Binh Dinh International Martial Arts Performance Night Attracts Thousands of Viewers

On the evening of September 2, at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square (Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh), the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Binh Dinh Province to organize the program "The Quintessence of International Martial Arts", with the participation of "undefeated" Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat. This is a series of events of the program "Tourism, Cinema and Sports - Proud of Vietnamese Identity" in 2024.

The show “The Quintessence of International Martial Arts” brings to the audience special performances, from traditional Vietnamese martial arts to international martial arts such as Khmer, Wushu, Pencak Silat, Muay Thai, Kickboxing.

The event is also an opportunity to promote Vietnamese martial arts to exchange and connect with international martial arts identities. This activity is also an opportunity to contribute to preserving, promoting and honoring the national culture and traditional martial arts of Vietnam.

At the program, delegates and thousands of people enjoyed special martial arts performances from traditional martial arts troupes of Vietnam and Southeast Asian countries. Witnessing the special martial arts performances, many people were excited and cheered.

The audience was extremely impressed with the collective performance of martial arts students, with 7 performances focusing on spirit, philosophy of life and spiritual factors, ethics and culture, personality, patience and respect for others.

Besides the group performances, professional boxer Tran Duy Nhat brought to the audience and the people of Binh Dinh a very exciting Muayboran performance from the culture of the land of the "golden pagoda".

In addition, the audience can enjoy the fighting and synchronized performances, with martial arts such as: Muay, kick boxing, Vietnamese traditional martial arts, Khmer kun martial arts, Kun Kabator, Wushu, Tay Son Binh Dinh synchronized performance... from martial artists from many countries around the world .

At the “International Martial Arts Quintessence” night, thousands of tourists, film crews, and film directors witnessed the unique traditional Vietnamese martial arts competitions between the male athlete pair in the 65 kg weight class and the female athlete pair in the 51 kg weight class, along with many other exciting competitions.

On the same morning, at the Binh Dinh Provincial Convention Center, the opening ceremony of the film screening program “Promoting and advertising tourism through cinema” took place. Accordingly, 13 outstanding films will be screened at cinemas and public screening points to serve the people in the province and tourists.

Notably, among these, there are 6 feature films with stories and settings filmed in Binh Dinh and some localities in the country, including: Immortal Legend; Martial Arts Battle; Dao, Pho and Piano; Pao's Story; Heroic Bloodline; You and Trinh. In addition, there are 4 animated films including Maika - The Little Girl from Another Planet; The Cloth Hero; The Great Emperor; The Legend of the Sword. 3 foreign martial arts and sports films include Cleopatra's Mission, The Kingdom of Perfection, and Oriental Witch .

The above activities not only create a joyful and healthy atmosphere for the people but also contribute to promoting the beautiful image of Binh Dinh, while preserving and promoting traditional cultural values.
