The music night "Song of Peace" will take place at 8:00 p.m. on July 13, at Fidel Park.

Within the framework of the first Peace Festival - 2024, this afternoon, June 17, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Peace Festival chaired a working session with Quang Tri Radio and Television Station on the script for the music night program "Peace Song" with songs by musician Trinh Cong Son.

The Peace Song Concert will take place at 8:00 p.m. on July 13 at Fidel Park.

The music night “Song of Peace” was organized by Quang Tri Radio and Television Station in collaboration with the family of musician Trinh Cong Son. The music night had the participation of many leading Vietnamese singers such as Hong Nhung, Cam Van, Quang Dung, Duc Tuan, Saxophonist Tran Manh Tuan and many young singers...

The script of the music night program consists of 3 parts: Raising Peace; Children's Songs for Peace and Let's Love Each Other, with the participation of singer Trinh Vinh Trinh, the sister of musician Trinh Cong Son. The songs included in the program express the content and thoughts of loving peace and opposing war of musician Trinh Cong Son, in line with the meaning of the Festival for Peace.

From the success of the music night "Let's Love Each Other" organized by Quang Tri Radio and Television Station in collaboration with musician Trinh Cong Son's family in 2021, to the music night "Peace Song" scheduled to be held on the evening of July 13, 2024, there is a big difference in the ideological content and scale of the program at the national level.

Director of Quang Tri Radio and Television Station Vo Nguyen Thuy said that to prepare for the successful music night, Quang Tri Radio and Television Station coordinated with musician Trinh Cong Son's family and the art program crew to work in many sessions, interview many ambassadors in Hanoi about the meaning of the program as well as create documents for the Festival for Peace.

Up to now, musician Trinh Cong Son's family has also mobilized friends and called for socialized resources to sponsor the program to organize a free music night for the public. Quang Tri Radio and Television Station has also coordinated with the police, electricity, youth union... to prepare conditions to ensure the success of the music night.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam emphasized that the music night is part of the overall program of the Festival for Peace, which is national and international in scope and is being held for the first time in the world. The requirements are very high. He suggested that Quang Tri Radio and Television Station coordinate with musician Trinh Cong Son's family to continue to carefully refine the script content and adjust some songs to suit the scale and meaning of the Festival for Peace program to make the program better.
