On his Fanpage, Den Vau said he had received a lot of information related to the project "Nuoi Em". As a long-time supporter of this project, he felt it was his responsibility to share clearly.
Den Vau talks about his relationship with the “Nuoi Em” team: “Den and his team participate as supporters, like many other philanthropists. Every year, Den and his team still send money to take care of meals for children in the highlands under the Nuoi Em project. This is the personal cost of Den and his team, not from the revenue from the song “ Nuoi An Cho Em”. Den (and the entire team) is not the founder, does not participate in the management, operation or decision on the use of the project’s budget”.
Regarding the song Cooking for Children and how the revenue is used for charity , Den said: From the project "Nuoi Em" and more specifically from the field trip with the "Nuoi Em" team to the highlands to visit the children... helped inspire me to write the song. All revenue from this song is used by Den for charity. Not only for Nuoi Em's projects, but also for other programs of the industry and the state.
The male artist also publicly announced the transfer of revenue from Cooking for You.
“Den understands the sad thoughts at this time because, like everyone else, the donations come from the collective's hard work, and these mistakes (if any) are true, broken trust will not be compensated. However, before jumping to conclusions, we also need to calm down and wait for a clear and transparent answer from the "Nuoi Em" team. If any violations are concluded by the authorities, Den will support the final handling to protect the interests of the donors and most importantly, the interests of the children", Den Vau emphasized.
In recent days, many posts have appeared on social networks questioning the financial transparency of the “Nuoi Em” project - a program connecting philanthropists to support nutritious lunches and necessities for disadvantaged children in remote and mountainous areas.
Responding to people's doubts and questions, at noon on December 7, Mr. Hoang Hoa Trung, Head of the "Nuoi Em" project, posted a notice on his personal page affirming his willingness to publicly disclose information and coordinate to clarify all issues of concern to the community. The project representative committed to responding to all emails and requests for support within 24 working hours.
The “Nuoi Em” project was initiated by the Faith Volunteer Group in 2014 to support disadvantaged children in mountainous areas through the model of “Building schools - Providing meals - Adopting”. Over the past 11 years, the program has reached 21 provinces and cities in the North, Central and Central Highlands, connecting “adopters” everywhere to support more than 93,000 children.
