For a long time, sticky rice cake (Bánh khúc) has been a familiar dish to people in Northern Vietnam. When people think of sticky rice cake, they immediately think of a cake with a wrapper made of glutinous rice and a filling of mung beans and pork. However, there is a very special version of sticky rice cake that not everyone has had the chance to eat: the wrapper is made from glutinous rice flour, and the filling is pork marinated in lard and onions. This unique version is only found in the sticky rice cake from Phu Thuong village, Quang Phu Cau commune, Ung Hoa district, Hanoi .
