A friend from Binh Duong who recently visited Phan Thiet said: "Your Binh Thuan has everything; now you don't even need to go to Dubai to ride camels. My kids love it, and I love it too." Indeed, Binh Thuan is developing a diverse range of tourism products for visitors to choose from.
To prove our friend's point, we went to Bau Trang. We arrived at the U&Me Tourist Area around 3 PM, and it was quite crowded. They rent out equipment for taking photos on the sand dunes and camels for 200,000-400,000 VND depending on whether you include accessories. The sand dunes here are quite beautiful; not only are there camels, but also motorbikes for visitors to experience the dunes. Especially noteworthy are some withered melaleuca trees, their shapes resembling winding paths, giving the feeling of being lost in a wild desert. The staff here are very professional, helping visitors climb onto the camels and taking many beautiful photos. At first, we were a little scared climbing onto the tall camels, but the staff reassured us, "Don't worry, they're very gentle, and we'll help." For safety, visitors climb a tall ladder, holding the camel still between them, and simply step over to sit comfortably on its back. The first few steps felt a bit unsteady due to the height difference, but once we were stable, it was very enjoyable. We took all sorts of photos – standing, sitting, riding – in the middle of the sandy desert, all captured by the staff member in about 20 minutes. When we got down to see the pictures, everyone was amazed because they were so beautiful, especially those who love taking "Instagrammable" photos; they couldn't miss it.
Not only at U&Me, but the Mongolian Village at Mianfarm Bau Trang also offers visitors the opportunity to dress up in various nomadic tents, practice archery, and more. While costume rentals are available everywhere, many tourists choose Binh Yen Boho for the most rentals because they have a wide selection of beautiful, new costumes. The manager said: "Mongolian, Miao, Indigenous, or Persian costumes cost from 300,000 to 500,000 VND including a full set of accessories; without accessories, it's cheaper." It must be admitted that many tourists look stunning in their costumes, let alone in photos that are further enhanced with editing – the results are truly breathtaking.
Recently, not only has Bau Trang seen the emergence of new services, but several cafes in Mui Ne and Ham Tien have also opened with attractive views that draw many visitors who enjoy taking Instagram-worthy photos in a European or Mongolian style, and even feature pets like sheep and rabbits. Hopefully, these diverse forms of tourism will continue to develop further, attracting more and more visitors to Binh Thuan, not just once, but many times over.
