Go to exercise, ward chairman in Thua Thien

Speaking with VietNamNet on the morning of May 15, a leader of Huong Thuy Town Police (Thua Thien - Hue ) confirmed that the unit is investigating the case of Mr. Vu Duc Duy, Chairman of Thuy Chau Ward (Huong Thuy Town) who was seriously stabbed.

Initially, the police identified the perpetrator as VTT (residing in group 6, Thuy Chau ward).

According to initial information, early this morning, when Mr. Duy was exercising near his house, he was suddenly attacked by subject T., who stabbed him in the abdomen with a knife.

Mr. Duy was seriously injured, tried to go home about 10m from the scene and was taken to Hue Central Hospital for emergency treatment by relatives.

Meanwhile, after committing the crime, suspect T. fled on a motorbike.

Upon receiving the news, Huong Thuy Town Police quickly dispatched forces to the scene to arrest the suspect.

According to the reporter's source, at around 9:30 this morning, subject T. was arrested on the La Son - Tuy Loan highway while on the way to Da Nang city.

Currently, the case is under investigation and clarification.
