Thuyloi University recently announced the list of candidates with the highest entrance scores in 2024. Among them, the highest candidates are Kieu Thi Huong Giang, a former student of Hai Ba Trung High School, Thach That, Hanoi and Duong Cong Trinh, a former student of Lang Giang High School No. 1, Bac Giang city.
The surprising thing about the 2 Valedictorians and Salutatorians this year is that they both took the C00 exam, only differing by 0.02 points, both enrolled in the Faculty of Economic Law of Thuyloi University in 2024 and both believe that this is a major with great potential for development, especially with the current and future economy. With excellent achievements, both students received a full scholarship of 90 million VND from the school.
Runner-up of Thuyloi University: "A turning point marking my maturity"
Duong Cong Trinh, a male student from Lang Giang, Bac Giang, is one of the new students with the highest admission score to the school. With a score of 27.98 points, Cong Trinh also excelled in becoming the school's second-place winner this year. Cong Trinh is currently a new student of the 66th course majoring in Economic Law.
Talking to Dan Viet newspaper reporter, this former student of Lang Giang High School No. 1, Bac Giang city said: "I am very honored and proud to represent the new students to express my feelings at the opening ceremony."

Cong Trinh shared: "I often heard the school called Havard Tay Son, which made me a bit curious about the school and wanted to learn more. After that, my family and I confidently chose the school as the place to entrust our future."
Talking about the decision to choose Economic Law, Cong Trinh said: "I have carefully considered many factors. First of all, this is a major with great potential for development, especially with the current and future economy. In addition to knowledge, students will be trained in programs to improve soft skills such as communication skills, public speaking skills, critical thinking and problem solving... These are all necessary skills to develop specialized knowledge as well as in work and daily life. When I was admitted, I also realized that stepping into the school's door was a great honor and great happiness, and also a turning point marking my maturity."
The Project intends to try to study well, practice the missing skills, actively participate in extracurricular activities and social activities so that after graduating, they will become people with courage, dynamism, creativity, confidence and usefulness for the country.
Valedictorian of Thuyloi University: "A hopeful and challenging start"
With a score of 28.00 in block C00 for the 2024 high school graduation exam, Kieu Thi Huong Giang was admitted to the Economic Law major, the major with the highest admission score in the school and is the new valedictorian of K66.
The former student of Hai Ba Trung High School, Thach That, shared his family's feelings when he learned that he had passed the university entrance exam as valedictorian: "My family and relatives were very proud when they heard that I had achieved this result. Everyone was happy because my efforts and hard work had been rewarded, and at the same time, they had high hopes for my bright future."
Becoming valedictorian, Huong Giang considered this a new opportunity, a beginning full of hope and challenge. It was also a time for Giang to prove her independence without her parents by her side and also to repay her family's expectations.

Sharing the reason for choosing her major, Huong Giang said: "When deciding to choose the Economic Law major at Thuy Loi University, I carefully considered many factors. First of all, I found that the Economic Law major combines legal and business knowledge, which is very suitable for my interests in learning about legal issues related to business activities and market development. This helps me develop comprehensively in my future career."

Huong Giang’s goal during her four years at school is to complete her general education courses well, practice her communication and presentation skills, and join clubs to expand her network and learn new things. When she enters the stage of studying specialized subjects, Giang will begin to practice through group projects, real-life case studies, and attend seminars and workshops to update her knowledge.
During her studies, Giang plans to intern at law firms, businesses or related organizations to apply her knowledge in practice, as well as participate in intensive extracurricular activities such as mock trial competitions and law seminars. In her final year, Huong Giang will focus on completing her graduation thesis related to Economic Law, preparing documents and practicing interview skills to find job opportunities after graduation.
