The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) recently announced that 10 stadiums hosting matches during the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand have achieved green building certification.

FIFA's announcement stated that all 10 stadiums hosting matches of the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 have received green stadium certification, and this is the first time a FIFA women's football tournament has achieved this title.

According to FIFA, the organization has been concerned and aware of sustainability for World Cups since the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

The 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup Finals will feature 32 teams competing in eight groups.

Each group consists of four teams with a total of 64 matches taking place in Australia and New Zealand from July 20 to August 20.

Coming to the biggest festival of women's football in the world in 2023, there are 8 teams making their debut, including Vietnam, Philippines, Haiti, Ireland, Morocco, Panama, Portugal and Zambia./.
