TPO - Last night, the final round of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in Asia ended. The final tickets to the next round have been decided.

In the most important match, which decided the last place to participate in the 4th qualifying round between Palestine and Oman, the two sides contributed an unbelievable scenario. Before entering this match, Oman was 1 point ahead of Palestine, so they only needed a draw to be sure of being in 4th place and a ticket to continue.

That is the reason why Oman played a bit worse than their opponents, who showed more determination to win. In the first half, Palestine had 5 times more shots than their opponents (10 and 2), but they could not score.

But instead of winning, they lost 1-2, accepting to join Indonesia in looking for a wild card in the 4th qualifying round.
