1. Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee requests urgent direction to focus on overcoming the consequences of natural disasters caused by storm No. 5.

The Provincial People's Committee requests to continue searching and rescuing, urgently evacuating people from dangerous areas, and at the same time supporting social security, housing and resettlement for affected households. Support the restoration of agricultural, livestock and aquaculture production according to the support policies of the Central Government and the province. Support people to repair houses damaged by floods and landslides; arrange temporary accommodation for people who are evacuated from areas at high risk of landslides; at the same time review, research, and have a plan for concentrated resettlement or arrange interspersed resettlement in safe locations for households in areas affected by landslides, at high risk of further landslides, flash floods, etc.
