(Dan Tri Newspaper) - According to currently published data, Cau Giay Secondary School is leading in average exam scores for 10th grade public schools this year with 26.49 points.

Cau Giay Secondary School has just announced its results in the 2025 Hanoi public high school entrance exam.

The average test score for students at this school is 26.49, while the highest admission score for the city this year is 25.5.

In mathematics, students at Cau Giay High School achieved an average score of 9 points. This figure was 9.44 in English and 8.05 in literature.

The entire school has 105 students who scored 10 in English and 12 students who scored 10 in Mathematics. The school also boasts one of the 8 top scorers in the public high school entrance exam, Nguyen Quang Anh (class 9A4).

The results of the specialized entrance exams for students in Cau Giay district also reached a record high. 335 students passed the specialized entrance exams, with many passing into 2-3 specialized schools, bringing the total number of successful candidates to 413.

Currently, among the junior high schools that have announced their average scores for the 2025 public high school entrance exam, Luong The Vinh High School ranks second after Cau Giay High School with 25.82 points. The school has 143 students admitted to specialized schools with 245 successful applications.

Next is Thanh Xuan Secondary School with an average exam score of 25.76 points. The number of students admitted to specialized schools is 173, with 356 successful applications.

Nam Tu Liem High-Quality Junior High School ranked 4th with an average score of 25.6. Specifically, the average score was 7.9 in Literature, 8.8 in Mathematics, and 8.9 in Foreign Language.

The class with the highest average entrance exam score is AE9.1 with 26.39 points (an average of 8.8 points per subject).

The school has 154 students who have been confirmed to be admitted to specialized programs.

Following Nam Tu Liem High School is Hanoi Star High School with an average admission score of 25.55. The school also has a top-scoring student in the city, Nguyen Minh Huyen, from class 9A0.

Regarding the results of specialized admissions, Hanoi Star High School had 267 successful applicants, including 149 applicants to specialized high schools affiliated with universities and 118 applicants to specialized high schools under the Hanoi Department of Education and Training.

The three specialized classes in physics, chemistry, and biology at this school achieved a 100% pass rate for specialized programs.

In sixth place is Giang Vo Secondary School. The school has an average entrance exam score of 24.3, with 194 students achieving 25.5 points or higher. The number of students from the school admitted to specialized schools is 214.

Another private school, Doan Thi Diem Secondary and High School, also boasts a record number of students admitted to specialized programs. While the school doesn't publish its average admission scores, the number of students admitted to specialized programs reached 450, surpassing even Cau Giay High School.

Currently, the two high-quality secondary schools with strengths in training gifted students, Archimedes Academy and Nguyen Tat Thanh, have not yet announced their results in this year's 10th grade entrance exam.
