Specifically, the 3 projects include: Urban residential area, commercial services of residential groups 17, 18, Dien Bien Phu ward; Dien Bien Provincial Museum and Muong Thanh A Urban Residential Area. All 3 projects are located in Dien Bien Phu ward - the central ward of Dien Bien province.
Attending and witnessing the groundbreaking ceremony of the urban residential area, commercial services in residential groups 17 and 18 of Dien Bien Phu ward, comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, affirmed that the projects selected by Dien Bien province to start construction today have many important meanings; contributing to creating new development momentum for Dien Bien province, while improving the quality of life, creating a civilized, convenient and modern living space.

"And above all, the projects started today are vivid evidence of the province's efforts to attract investment and innovate development thinking, demonstrating a strong aspiration to rise up, creating a breakthrough in infrastructure construction, urban development, improving people's lives, towards the goal of rapid and sustainable development," affirmed Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee Tran Quoc Cuong.
Also at the groundbreaking ceremony of 3 key projects, the leaders of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province pledged that the authorities at all levels of Dien Bien province will always accompany and provide maximum support to investors; continue to direct all levels and sectors to create the most favorable investment and business environment; promote the spirit of openness and cooperation, together building Dien Bien into an attractive, safe and friendly destination for businesses and investors.
Selected as a key project to celebrate the country's important event, the Urban Residential Area Project, Commercial Services of Residential Groups 17, 18 Him Lam, Dien Bien Phu Ward, implemented by the Joint Venture of MST Investment Joint Stock Company and Vina 2 Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, has a total investment of nearly 981 billion VND, an area of over 48,000m², an expected population of about 600 people; the project is planned to be built synchronously with many important items, such as: Adjacent residential land of nearly 18,000m²; modern commercial-service works, an area of over 6,500m², 12 floors high, total floor area of over 47,000m², promising to become an architectural highlight and commercial service center of the area; Social and technical infrastructure are invested synchronously with green squares, parking lots, modern traffic and drainage systems...

Muong Thanh A Urban Area Project is located in Dien Bien Phu Ward (the west borders Nam Rom River, the north borders Be Van Dan Street, the east borders the residential area, the south borders Hoang Van Thai Street) with a total area of 5.49 hectares invested by NQT Quang Ninh Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company. Muong Thanh A Urban Area is a project with modern architecture mixed with the typical cultural identity of Dien Bien with a harmonious and synchronized overall structure with Muong Thanh market, creating a new look and green living environment for the project.
The Dien Bien Provincial Museum project is invested in construction in combination with the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum and the relics: A1 hill, Muong Thanh bridge, De Castries tunnel, A1 martyrs cemetery... to create a "Cultural-historical" center, aiming to preserve and promote the cultural heritage values of Dien Bien province; thereby contributing to promoting economic , cultural and social development in general and tourism development in particular.
With the desire to create a highlight in Muong Thanh A Urban Area, the People's Committee of Dien Bien Phu Ward has recently decided to invest in a walking street to contribute to creating a new look, a highlight at night for sightseeing, entertainment and recreation in Muong Thanh A Urban Area at night.
The Dien Bien Provincial Museum Project was approved by the People's Committee of Dien Bien province in Decision No. 1878/QD-UBND dated October 18, 2024; the project has a total investment of 150 billion VND, invested from the central budget; the project implementation period is 2024-2026.
The Dien Bien Provincial Museum Project has a construction investment scale, including: Main items: Museum House, 3-storey house architecture (construction area: 2,268m2 ) ; floor area: 5,993m2 ; yard for organizing traditional activities of ethnic groups in the province: area: 1,545m2 . Auxiliary items include: Main gate, side gate, fence surrounding the project, walking path, power supply, water supply, drainage, fire prevention and fighting, synchronous and complete. Auxiliary space and equipment include: Outdoor exhibition space, trees, flower gardens, ornamental plants, glass roof; light electrical equipment, air conditioners, elevators, generators - transformer stations, interior equipment - offices...
With the hope that key projects and works will be completed soon, put into operation on schedule, ensuring quality and efficiency, the leaders of Dien Bien province requested that project investors and construction units must focus human resources and resources to urgently implement project items; strictly comply with legal regulations on construction, land, environment, ensuring safety, quality and progress. With the departments and branches of the province, Dien Bien Phu ward, the leaders of Dien Bien province requested to continue to closely coordinate, promptly remove difficulties, and create favorable conditions for investors during the implementation process.
